Peter Paul DePasquale, age 96, of St. Augustine, FL., and formerly of Philadelphia, Pa. passed away on January 18, 2024 at Clyde E. Lassen State Veterans Nursing Home in St. Augustine, FL.  Peter was born on July 31, 1927, in Philadelphia, PA to parents George and ELizabeth (Norakie) DePasquale.  He grew up and lived most of his life in Philadelphia.  He served in the US Army during WW II and met his future wife, Florence, while in the Army.  They had grown up together in the same neighborhood.  Peter and Florence married and raised a family of four children.  He worked as a welder after his discharge from the Army, and later worked as a typesetter in the printing business for many years.  Peter loved to work.  He was a skilled carpenter and was involved in many home renovations and projects.  In his leisure time he enjoyed going to the beach, crabbing, reading, watching TV, enjoying his favorite port wine, and gambling on the horses at the racetrack.  He was preceded in death by…
